Students at Babcock University with ideas for solving real-world problems can now register for the Babcock Innovation Challenge 7.0.
The student entrepreneurship programme is designed to help participants turn ideas into practical business, technology, service or community solutions.
Registration is open to teams of three to five students, with applications closing on 31 October 2026.
Who Can Enter the Babcock Innovation Challenge?
The competition is open to teams made up of 3–5 members.
There is one key membership requirement: every person on the team must be a registered member of the Babcock University Student Entrepreneurship Club (BUSEC).
Students interested in participating should therefore confirm their BUSEC membership status before submitting a team application.
How to Apply?
The challenge will be conducted through three main stages.
Stage 1: Application
Interested teams submit their ideas through the designated registration platform.
The application stage is the entry point into the challenge.
Stage 2: Semifinals
Following the application stage, 10 teams will be selected to participate in the semifinals.
Stage 3: Grand Finale
The competition will then narrow down to five teams, which will proceed to the grand finale.
This gives participating students an opportunity to develop their ideas progressively while receiving exposure to different stages of an innovation competition.
